The Giving Tree written, illustrated and narrated by Shel Silverstein

The story of "The Giving Tree" is so moving and a little sad. See what you think of this story. What does it have to say to you?

The author is famous for his children's books, poetry and illustrations. Here is a link to his webpage and lists of his books and other activities:  http://www.shelsilverstein.com/

New Additions to the PortaPortal

Dear Students and Families,

Look for new additions and the return of old favorites.

BrainPop links are available with a username as a temporary addition to Portland Public School's Internet subscriptions. Be sure to use the username and password provided.

I put "Grizzly Adventure" back as a Summer treat. A little celebration for the end of testing.

I have also re-added "Useful and Fun for the Whole Family" near the bottom of the PortaPortal. There is also a new page of super fun puzzles and strategy games.

I am always looking for new, fun, educational or brain-working websites. If you know of any, feel free to add a comment here or email me during the summer.

No matter where you go, if there is Internet . .  you can find me.

Love and hugs,

Ms. Wolfsong
